Car Safety: The Results of Distracted Driving

Not long ago, there was a story on the news about a wonderful family man and a fitness enthusiast who was killed while riding his bicycle in a small town near Dallas, Texas. He was hit by a pickup truck being operated by a 16 year old boy, who was text messaging his girlfriend at the time he ran over the cyclist. A family was robbed of a husband and a father, all because of senseless, thoughtless, criminal stupidity. There are no other words for it. And stories like this happen every day in this country. Car safety is a huge responsibility, but some people have absolutely no conception of that. Don’t be one of them.
